Security & Data Handling
Last updated: July 19, 2026
Access Kosher is built to protect the certification data agencies depend on. This page summarizes how we host, encrypt, back up, and control access to that data.
Hosting
The platform is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Infrastructure is managed and kept up to date as part of regular operations.
Encryption
All connections to Access Kosher are encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) is enforced so browsers only connect over secure connections.
Backups
Daily backups are performed as standard to protect against data loss, and are monitored as part of regular operations. Offsite backups are available as an additional service for organizations that require an extra layer of redundancy or disaster-recovery protection.
Access control and authentication
Access is governed by role-based user permissions. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is supported, and organizations can enable single sign-on (SSO) to integrate with their existing identity provider and manage user access centrally.
Data ownership and portability
You retain full ownership of your data at all times. Data can be exported in standard formats, and on request — subject to legal or contractual obligations — we will delete or return your data, so you are never locked into the platform.
Integrity and auditability
Access Kosher includes data-integrity checks and a complete audit trail that records who changed what, and when, across the account — giving the office full oversight and accountability.
